This page explains the policy that will apply to paid AI-MIDI purchases when checkout becomes available.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies when AI-MIDI launches paid Transcription subscriptions and one-time API credit purchases through Paddle. Each initial payment and subscription renewal is evaluated as a separate purchase using service activity after that payment.
A full refund is available when requested within 7 calendar days of payment and no successful API conversion or transcription has been completed after that payment.
2. Successful Use And Failed Jobs
A purchase is non-refundable once an API conversion or transcription has completed successfully after payment. Partial refunds are not offered under AI-MIDI's standard refund policy.
System-failed jobs and files rejected before processing do not count as use, and any held usage is returned automatically.
3. Subscription Cancellation
Cancel any time to stop the next renewal. Unless a full refund is issued, access continues through the current paid billing period. Cancellation by itself does not refund the current payment.
4. How To Request A Refund
Email team@sori-ai.com within the eligibility period. Include the email address on your AI-MIDI account, your Paddle receipt or transaction ID, and whether the purchase was for Transcription or API credits.
Do not send your password, full card number, or other payment credentials. You may also contact Paddle Buyer Support using the support link in your receipt.
5. Effect Of An Approved Full Refund
Paid access ends immediately, remaining paid API credits or transcription quota are revoked, the account returns to the Free plan where applicable, and future subscription renewals are cancelled.
Paddle returns approved refunds to the original payment method where possible. The time required for a refund to appear depends on Paddle, the payment method, and the customer's financial institution.
6. Paddle And Applicable Rights
Paddle will act as Merchant of Record for paid AI-MIDI purchases and handle checkout, tax, and payment processing.
Duplicate or incorrect charges, Paddle's Buyer Refund Policy, and refund or withdrawal rights required by applicable law are handled separately and take precedence where they provide broader rights. Review the Paddle Refund Policy for Paddle's current buyer rules.
