Free includes 1 full MIDI per week. Paid plans include up to about 60, 150, or 360 minutes of transcription per billing month (720 / 1,800 / 4,320 credits). Paid and purchased usage costs 1 credit per begun 5-second block, with a 12-credit minimum per job.
Audio quality matters. Transcription works best when the target instrument is clear and prominent. Accuracy may be lower with noisy or degraded recordings, clipping or heavy distortion, strong reverb, or dense mixes where the instrument is difficult to hear.

Each initial Transcription subscription payment and each renewal is a separate payment. The entire payment becomes non-refundable when even one monthly Transcription credit issued for that billing period is finally consumed to unlock or first download a full result.
Under AI-MIDI's standard refund policy, a full refund is available only when requested within 14 calendar days of payment and no paid credit granted by that payment has been finally consumed. The 14-day period is determined by when AI-MIDI first receives the refund request, not when an in-progress credit hold resolves or when the refund is processed. If even one paid credit from that payment is finally consumed, the entire payment is non-refundable regardless of the remaining balance, and partial refunds are not offered. How is usage calculated?
Preview conversions do not use credits. On Free, a full MIDI download uses the weekly allowance. Monthly and purchased transcription credits use one universal rate: 1 credit per begun 5-second block, with a 12-credit minimum per job when the full MIDI is downloaded. Monthly credits reset on your billing date.
What are the length and size limits?
Every plan has a maximum audio length and file size per conversion. Higher plans allow longer and larger files.
What audio gives the best results?
Transcription works best when the target instrument is clear and prominent. Accuracy may be lower with noisy or degraded recordings, clipping or heavy distortion, strong reverb, or dense mixes where the instrument is difficult to hear.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Upgrades charge the full Paddle-confirmed target-plan amount immediately, including any active promotion and applicable tax, keep your existing renewal date, and add only the difference between the new and current monthly allowances after payment succeeds. Lower paid plans are scheduled for the next renewal, where Paddle applies any active discount and applicable tax. Switching to Free cancels the next renewal, while paid access continues through the current billing period unless a full refund is issued.
Can I buy more transcription credits?
Yes. You can buy one-time Starter (540 credits / up to 45 minutes / $9.99), Standard (1,680 / up to 140 minutes / $29.99), or Professional (5,760 / up to 480 minutes / $99.99) packs from your Transcription Plan page. No subscription is required. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months, and the earliest-expiring credits are used first.
What happens to purchased credits if my plan changes or ends?
Nothing changes. Purchased credits keep the same balance, 5-seconds-per-credit rate, and original expiry date when you upgrade, switch plans, cancel, or use AI-MIDI without a subscription.
