Back to HomeAI-MIDI is a browser-based audio to MIDI converter built by SORI. It helps musicians, producers, teachers, and creators turn recorded performances into editable MIDI files without installing separate transcription software.
The service focuses on practical audio-to-MIDI workflows: upload a supported audio file, choose an instrument model, select the section you want to convert, and download the generated MIDI file for use in a DAW, music production project, or other MIDI-compatible tool.

Audio to MIDI
AI-MIDI supports standard audio formats including MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG.
Video to MIDI
For video to MIDI and MP4 to MIDI workflows, AI-MIDI extracts the audio track from supported video files such as MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM before generating MIDI.
Instrument Models
AI-MIDI provides instrument-specific transcription models so the conversion can be matched to the source material. Piano is available as the primary model, guitar is currently offered in beta, and drum support is in development.
